British Shorthair Male Or Female. British Shorthair Cats are a large breed of pedigreed British domestic cats with broad and sturdy bodies, iconic blue-gray coats (British Blue), and copper eyes. A fixed female, in my opinion, has the sweetest personality.
The female British Shorthair likes to define their own territory, once they are grown up to a certain age and ask for some privacy. I personally didn't want to do this. British Shorthair are very friendly and affectionate cats that appreciate attention without becoming a nuisance.
Additionally, both the genders have that distinctive Cheshire cat smile, but the male American Shorthair has a much more jowly look.
The face is round with full cheeks and the nose is short and broad.
